Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the OLERA website at oleragrowth.com (the "Site"), including all interactive tools, AI features (such as Vayla), forms, and content. This AUP is part of and incorporated into our Terms of Service.
By using the Site, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in restricted access, termination of services, or legal action.
1. General Conduct
You agree to use the Site in a manner that is lawful, ethical, and respectful. You will not use the Site or any of its features to engage in conduct that is harmful to OLERA, its users, or any third party.
2. Prohibited Uses
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Illegal Activity: Using the Site for any purpose that violates local, state, federal, or international laws or regulations.
- Fraud and Misrepresentation: Providing false or misleading information, impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Harassment and Abuse: Using the Site to harass, threaten, defame, intimidate, or discriminate against any person.
- Spam and Unsolicited Communications: Using the Site's contact features or AI tools to send bulk, automated, or unsolicited messages or communications.
- Data Mining and Scraping: Using bots, crawlers, scrapers, or other automated tools to access, collect, or extract data from the Site without written authorization.
- Reverse Engineering: Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise discover the source code, algorithms, or underlying structure of any part of the Site, including Vayla.
- Competitive Intelligence: Using the Site or Vayla to gather information for the purpose of building or improving a competing product or service.
- Circumvention: Attempting to bypass, disable, or interfere with any security features, access controls, or usage limits on the Site.
- Malicious Code: Uploading, transmitting, or distributing viruses, malware, ransomware, trojans, or any code designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to systems.
- Intellectual Property Violations: Uploading or transmitting content that infringes any patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, or other proprietary rights of any party.
3. AI Assistant (Vayla) — Specific Rules
When interacting with Vayla, the following additional rules apply:
- No Prompt Injection: Do not attempt to manipulate, override, or circumvent Vayla's instructions, behavior guidelines, or safety parameters through adversarial prompts or other techniques.
- No Harmful Content Generation: Do not use Vayla to generate content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or that promotes discrimination or self-harm.
- No Sensitive Data: Do not submit passwords, financial account numbers, Social Security numbers, protected health information, or trade secrets to Vayla.
- No Misrepresentation of Output: Do not represent Vayla's responses as professional legal, financial, medical, or other expert advice. Vayla provides general informational responses only.
- No Resale or Redistribution: Do not copy, reproduce, or redistribute Vayla's responses for commercial purposes without written permission from OLERA.
- Fair Use: Use Vayla in good faith for its intended purpose — learning about OLERA's services, exploring business challenges, and initiating potential engagements.
4. Content Standards
Any content you submit, upload, or transmit through the Site (including through forms, chat, or Vayla) must not:
- Contain material that is defamatory, obscene, abusive, or offensive.
- Promote illegal activities or provide instructions for illegal conduct.
- Contain unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, or spam.
- Infringe on the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
- Contain personal data of third parties without their consent.
5. Rate Limits and Fair Usage
OLERA reserves the right to implement rate limits, usage caps, or other restrictions on Site features (including Vayla) to ensure fair access and system stability. Excessive or abusive use may result in temporary or permanent access restrictions.
6. Monitoring and Enforcement
We reserve the right (but are not obligated) to monitor use of the Site for compliance with this AUP. We may, at our sole discretion:
- Investigate suspected violations of this AUP.
- Remove or disable access to content that violates this AUP.
- Suspend or terminate access for users who violate this AUP.
- Report violations to law enforcement if we believe illegal activity has occurred.
- Pursue any available legal remedies.
Notice: OLERA may take enforcement action without prior notice if, in our sole judgment, the violation poses an immediate risk to the Site, our users, or third parties.
7. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any use of the Site that violates this AUP, please report it to us at matt@oleragrowth.com. We appreciate your help in keeping the Site safe and productive.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
